Job Description
BuildRight Construction is seeking a skilled Civil & Structural Engineer to oversee structural analysis, foundation calculations, site inspections, and compliance for high-rise commercial and infrastructure developments in New York City.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive structural modeling, calculations, and feasibility evaluations for urban projects.
- Prepare and review structural construction drawings, blueprints, and BIM models in AutoCAD & Revit.
- Conduct regular on-site quality assurance, structural inspections, and structural safety audits.
- Coordinate with municipal agencies, architects, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.
- Ensure all engineering designs adhere strictly to local building codes and OSHA safety standards.
Qualifications & Requirements
- 3-5 years of progressive structural or civil engineering experience in commercial construction.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit BIM, ETABS, SAP2000, or equivalent structural analysis software.
- Sound knowledge of NYC building codes, seismic/wind loading guidelines, and materials standards.
- Valid Professional Engineer (PE) license or EIT certification on track for PE licensure.
- Strong analytical problem-solving and field communication abilities.
